Valkenswaard is a good base for many activities; a nice walk on the market, cycling on the Malpie or shopping in Eindhoven. And if you want to spend more days in the area, stay overnight at Hotel de Valk. No, this has nothing to do with its bigger brother on the A2 in Eindhoven, this is a cozy, local hotel with a personal touch that you find less and less. Great bedrooms, very friendly staff and a super breakfast make this hotel a place you will go back to if you need to be in this part of the country.

Booked two nights. Great reception and both nights great, clean and cool room. Breakfast fine. 2nd day air conditioning broken, they were immediately willing to rebook another cool room and upgrade. Fantastic. This was also a great room, clean and modern. Would book again tomorrow if necessary.

Friendly staff, breakfast was well taken care of. Perfect packed lunch because we had asked for it. Neat, clean rooms. recently renovated. Nice lobby. Parking is almost all paid as the hotel is located almost in the center.

Rooms are beautiful and decorated after certain cities in the world. A more than adequate by the tasty and breakfast. Nice reception by the owners. No question is too much and everything is answered with the same kindness! Parking must indeed be paid but on Sunday you do not have to pay. All in all top location and nicely modernized hotel.

Nice and good hotel. Centrally located. Most everything within walking distance. Room was good and clean. Breakfast in the morning was ample with plenty of choice. Parking in front of the door. Note that during shopping hours you pay parking fees. All in all definitely worth it. Definitely worth a night or 2 to sleep.

Beautiful suite, spacious bathroom. The bed is lovely. We liked the small fridge in the room. All in all for this price in the center with everything within walking distance, I like to book it again.

The beds were nice and the shower was comfortable. The hotel has a very cozy atmosphere with nice decor and furnishings. Fine air conditioning. 

Beautiful and clean rooms. The hotel is located in a pleasant area. Many restaurants and terraces without being a nuisance. It was sometimes difficult to find staff. The reception is not permanently staffed which is understandable in this small and cozy hotel.

The host is very friendly, helpful and thought well of us. The rooms are clean and spacious with a luxurious bathroom. Location is excellent in the center of Valkenswaard.
